Repertorium Bernense

With the 'Repertorium Bernense', which for the first time systematically links persons and knowledge in digital form, learned and unlearned experts of the pre-modern era come to light as bearers of knowledge, so that their work for the benefit of the state as well as Bernese society and culture can become visible in many ways. The significance of the project already lies in the thorough inventory of the people and their knowledge, insofar as the 'Bernese treasures' from libraries and archives are lifted in a new way and significant parts of Bern's cultural heritage are made accessible online in an equally new way.
